Tre Amici

“Tre Amici” includes three of my favorite things in the world - chairs, tables, and urns - which are also three of my favorite painting subjects. I have been painting these objects for decades, some from life, some from memory, and some from imagination. They feel like constant and comforting friends. This trio happens to live on a balcony in Tuscany where I have had the privilege of staying and painting over the past few years and were painted from life this past May 2026. Do they take you right to a wonderful and comforting place in your memory or imagination?
